I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Collagen is the glue that holds a body together, and mine doesn't set properly, so it affects all of me. It makes me really bendy ;) which isn't always the party trick it sounds like. It comes with dysautonomia too, which means my nervous system is rubbish at the basics like b pressure. Mine runs low, so if I get up too fast or too much I go dizzy and have to sit straight back down. I also get migraines with aura - flashing lights and zigzags in my vision before the headache lands. So no strobing gifs or flashing spam please, my brain will not thank you. And yes, the scars are real.
